Matt came up through King’s Hawford with consistent success. Now in the Sixth Form, his four A-levels (history, economics, maths, and further maths) and the extensive extra curricular activities he is involved in is setting him up well for his aspirations to study at Oxford.

Exceptional grades in his GCSEs show the motivation Matt has to achieve his future goals. Not only a star of academia, Matt represents the school in rugby and football teams and has a talent for basketball. Other achievements show him to have amazing chess ability, having been a regional champion many years in a row.

Matt has attained the silver Duke of Edinburgh’s award, has performed brilliantly in the UKMT maths challenge, and is as a financial director for a successful young enterprise group. Finally, Matt is a valued member of the King’s Speech journalism team with his various and insightful articles that reflect his multifaceted skills and interests.
